We've raised $425 so far!
Donations so far total $225, and with my match we're at $425. Thanks so much to everyone who has donated. It will mean so much to the school and the community who use the park.

Donations end November 16! Matching donations up to $200 until then.
I'm winding this down since I've neglected it in the past two months. If you'd like to donate or know someone who would, please pass the word. I'll be matching your donations (up to $200 because that's all I have to donate right now). Here is a satellite image to remind you of how shady the playground used to be.
Let's buy some trees!

Thank you for your donations so far
I can't thank you enough for your donations so far. We've almost raised enough for one
tree and I know our community can do better. Here is a lovely message from someone who just donated:
"We are an Indian Springs Family, but we love Colerain and visit the playground often. Our family was happy to contribute. We look forward to watching the progress of the new trees. Happy tree planting!"

Reason #219 why Colerain Elementary is worth your small donation

Reason #157 why you should donate
Remember when your child was learning to walk and you decided to take an afternoon in the shade at Colerain to let your child toddle all around the handicap accessible ramps and then have a picnic at the table under the huge shade trees? Let's plant more trees so future families can experience that.

Colerain Elementary has had to remove 50-60 trees that were destroyed by the Emerald Ash Borer. School budgets have been diminishing and I'd like to help the school raise money for buying 2" caliper replacement trees. We're able to get them for about $105-120 per tree. If you've ever spent time playing in the shade, please consider donating and please, spread the word. LET'S DO THIS!
